KIM & RHONDA: 2010 has proven to be another great year. Kim finished his first year at North Point Elementary. He loves his new school and is enjoying a very successful second year there. I finished teaching my 10th year in Reading Recovery at Vineyard Elementary. This fall I was transferred to Mt. Mahogany. It was a little scary to go somewhere new, but it has proved to be a good change. I am enjoying it there and learning from other teachers.

KIM and JACOB made an amazing water feature in the backyard this summer. Neither one really knew what they were doing but it turned out beautiful. I think they are both proud of their accomplishment. With several newly planted perennials, the backyard is now official done.

We are both still serving in the church in the BYU 22nd Stake. It’s great to rub shoulders with amazing young men and women. They are great examples.

Kim and I had a great time on an Alaskan Cruise this summer. The scenery was beautiful. We’re ready to go again.

We love spending time with our family. We were able to go to Arizona in June and spend a week with Annie & Rob and their girls. Katie and I made a quick trip down when Robi was born in August. My family had a family reunion this summer so we got to see all of my siblings and parents and many nieces and nephews. Sundays continue to be the best day of the week as we have dinner with the whole family. It's fun to have Millie and Katie in their own homes so that we can go to their places once a month.

We have strong testimonies of the Savior and grateful for this time of year when we can pay special tribute to Him. We hope that you all have a very

Abbie

2010 for me started out with a new car!! I bought a 2009 Nissan Sentra and am still loving the upgrade from my 2002 Hyundai Accent!

In April, Katie, Millie, Ellery, Aayla and I took a road trip down to Arizona to visit the Guillena's! We spent Easter there and had a great time enjoying the warm weather and all 4 sisters being together!

July came, and along with it.. a new job! I got a great job working in Radiology at the Utah Valley Regional Hospital in Provo. It's a miracle I landed the job out of all the applicants, but I am grateful for it and have loved learning so much about Radiology!

In September I took another road trip, this time to California with some friends. We were able to stay in the Disneyland Hotel and get into Disneyland and California Adventure for FREE thanks to my awesome cousin!! We also spent a day at the beach and had a BLAST!

Ginger turned 3 in October and we had a fun Halloween!

My costume this year was "white trash pregnant" ... don't worry, it was all pretend!

 I turned 23 this November.

I'm starting to feel old but am looking forward to the unknown adventures of 2011 and the next few chapters ahead!

The Webbs

This has been a great year for the Webbs! We have had many blessings. We followed Katie and Brandon to Springville and built a new house right behind theirs. With adjoining back yards, we can't wait till next summer when we get sod and have an extra big space for the girls to get out some of their excessive energy! Our ward is wonderful and we love our neighborhood.
Jacob started Physical Therapy school in May. He attends Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo. He is liking his classes, learning a lot and doing very well. We are all very excited for him to graduate in December 2012! This summer Jacob tried going fishing every spare moment he had (which ended up only being a few times... literally). One of his summer highlights was a fishing trip in the Granddaddy Basin with some of his family. Millie did a wonderful job at throwing him one of the best birthday parties ever when he turned 30 in May, it was a Japanese themed party. Millie prepared the food and her family helped with decorations and wardrobe; it was a lot of fun! He recently got a part time job doing registration at the hospital. He was also called as the assistant stake athletic director AND a primary worker last Sunday (12/12). Jacob loves playing basketball on Tuesday nights with the guys from the ward, being a dad and playing with Ells and A's.

Millie is still working as a Newborn ICU nurse and loving it. It has been the perfect job for her. Despite working nights, she always makes sure her families needs are met. She loves being a mom to Ellery and Aayla and it really shows in the time and dedication she gives to teach and raise them. In addition to her busy work and family life, Millie manages to find time to go running, piano playing, and read some of her favorite old, and some new, books (from Harry Potter to Hunger Games). Millie also had a great opportunity this summer to go to girls camp with our new ward as the ward's Camp Director. There aren't many young women in the ward but they're fun little girls and Millie loves her calling and the experiences she has had fulfilling it. This year, Jacob surprised Millie with a Disney themed birthday party complete with Monte Cristo sandwiches and Au Gratin potatoes from the Blue Bayou menu at Disnyland and a Disney Cruise ship cake that her sister Katie made for her. The theme was in celebration of the family's upcoming Disney Cruise in November 2011.

Ellery is as crazy as ever! She is such a fun, active, silly, smart little girl. She keeps us either laughing or pulling our hair out every day. She loves playing outside, playing with ipods, ipads, and anything electronic, she's even started picking up the Wii to play Boom Blox and Wii Fit Plus. She also loves watching movies, dancing, eating "yellow" cheese, carting around her blankets, pretending to be a kitty, reading books, learning to spell words and practice writing them, having sleepovers with grandma, and the list goes on. She is not too fond of sharing toys with Aayla but she's working on it. Ellery had a tough year medically. In March she was hospitalized for a respiratory virus and in our second or third week in our new ward, she lost her two front teeth in a nursery collision. We suppose it's all part of growing up, and she seems to be taking it all in stride.

Aayla has added a lot of love (and weight) to our family this year! She has been such a good, happy baby. She loves to eat, suck on her binky, play with toys, play with pooh bear and point at things and babble - but it's obvious her favorite word is "dada". Right now she is working on her very first tooth, and learning to walk. She can take a few wobbly steps but should be walking by her 1st birthday on December 28th! This year has obviously been a year of firsts for Aayla; she had her first New Years party, which she spent under bili-lights, her first 4th of July, that grandma and grandpa Webb got to come up and spend with us, her first Halloween where she dressed up as a "little black rain cloud" (Winnie the Pooh with a balloon tied to her wrist), and she'll have her first Christmas and birthday this year too! Already there are SO many differences between her and Ellery and we love them both for all they bring to our family! It has truly been a wonderful year and we wish you all the best in 2011, from our family to yours!

The O'Neil's

This year started with a new house for Brandon and me. We built a house in Springville and couldn't be happier with our ward and neighborhood. Millie and Jacob move in right behind us and we've loved having them so close. The house has kept us busy with decorating and working on the yard.

Brandon has been busy with school and work. He is still at Costco but moved departments and is now working in the tire shop. It has been a nice change for him. Brandon is doing really well in school and is enjoying what he is learning. He is on course to graduate next year!

In August, I started my 6th year of teaching 4th grade. I feel like I am always learning something new in this profession. This year I have an amazing group of students. I am very grateful, especially with our new arrival coming in March. Brandon and I will be welcoming a baby girl into our family. (yes, that will make 6 granddaughters for my parents) Baby girl is due on March 9!

Guillena Family

  • This year has been an eventful year FULL of changes for us! Rob started Dental school in Glendale, Arizona in August 2009, and since I couldn't find a nursing job right away he moved to the heat alone while Brinley and Meggie and I stayed behind. Thankfully, I found a job in February, and we were able to rejoin our family. Even though it took so long (9 months) to find a job, I was blessed to find the perfect one! I am working in a Level 2 nursery taking care of babies! I love it and work with a group of incredible nurses and have a wonderful manager.

  • Rob has been BUSY BUSY BUSY with dental school. Who would have ever thought it would be so much work! We knew it would be hard, but not as hard as it has ended up being. Studying, living on very little sleep, and being a Dad has taken all of Rob's time this year, but he is doing well in his classes and is adapting well. We just keep saying, "Only 2 and a half more years!"

  • Brinley turned 9 this year and is in 3rd grade at school. She loves school and has some good friends. She loves to read and is doing very well in school! She is also growing like a weed, we can't believe how big and grown-up she is getting! She is a wonderful older sister, and has become so mature. Only 4 more years 'til the teens!

  • Meggie started kindergarten this fall, and is loving every minute. She loves to learn and is excelling in all areas of school. She loves to read and learn new words and find words everywhere. She has an amazing teacher and we're so glad she is doing so well. She has the sweetest temperment, brightest smile, and makes us laugh everyday.

  • The biggest surprise our family had this year was another little girl. Robi Nicole was born on August 5, and weighed 6 lb. 5 oz. She has been the sweetest, best tempered little baby from day one. Even though we weren't expecting her, we now know our family would not be complete without her. Brinley and Meggie love her to pieces and hug and kiss her every chance they get. They also have been able to help out a lot, especially Brinley...what a little mommy.

  • We love living in Arizona, but really miss being away from all our family members. It's just not the same being able to run to Grandma and Grandpas house whenever we want, and we miss Grandma Roper's Sunday dinners. The summer is hot, but we sure don't miss the snow, ice, and cold of the winter. Brinley and Meggie have both become quite the little swimmers this year, and love having a pool to swim in anytime. All in all, we are doing great! We feel extremely blessed and have so much to be thankful for, especially this time of year to celebrate the Christmas season, and the love of our Savior! We love you all!!! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
