Guillena Family 2011

Our family had another year spent living in Glendale, Arizona. We are growing accustomed to the change of climate, although it is much harder to feel the Christmas spirit walking around in t-shirts.

Rob has only a year and a half left before graduating from Dental school and then we are hoping to be able to move back to Utah and closer to family. He is really enjoying school now that he works most of the time in the clinic actually working on people and getting practice doing Dental work.

Annie is loving her job as a NICU nurse. I work with a great group of nurses and have made some good friends there. I love caring for the babies and witnessing the miracle of life starting with the first breath! Rob and I are also training to run the Phoenix Rock and Roll Marathon next month. It has been a great experience running and training our bodies and we can't wait for race day!

Brinley continues to grow and develop into a beautiful responsible young lady. She turned 10 this year and we can't believe how fast time flies! She is a great big sister and helper. Brinley loves school and is in the 4th grade this year with straight A's. She has grown to love to read and is in the advanced math program.

Meggie continues to fill our home with her sunny personality and silly smile. She is such a happy easy-going girl. She is in the first grade and is the top of her class. She is an excellent reader and loves math. This year she also learned to ride a bike!

Robi is now 16 months old. She has decided she really enjoys being the baby of the family and is happy staying a baby for a little while still. We are still waiting on teeth, although at Thanksgiving we discovered she has her 2 top molars coming in, just no teeth in the front yet. She still needs to decide she wants to walk also. She has been a wonderful baby the last year, with a calm, happy temperament. We all love having her around!

The highlight of the year of course, was the Roper Disney trip! We had a great time spending time with all the family and can't wait to do it again!
